Respectful Relationships & School Values at Lightning Reef Primary School
At Lightning Reef Primary School, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for every student. One of the ways we do this is through our Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program, which is taught in all classrooms for 30 minutes each week.
Our RRRR lessons help students build essential life skills such as:
- Respecting themselves and others
- Building positive friendships and relationships
- Understanding and managing emotions
- Resolving conflicts in constructive ways
These sessions also provide a valuable opportunity to explore and reinforce our school values, mantras, and School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) framework. Through discussions, activities, and role-playing, students learn what our values look like in action and how they can live them every day at school.
